6 Months & October Happenings

I CANNOT believe that this little-big guy is 1/2 a year old!
Our butterball wears mostly 18 month clothes! Mason is eating: rice cereal, apple sauce, prunes, bannanas, peaches, greeen beans, peas, squash, and pears. He drinks 6 oz. every 3 hours; which is about 5 bottles a day. He takes several cat naps during the day, but he sleeps best at Grammy's house. She can usually get him to sleep for at least 2 hours or more. He has two little teeth on the bottom. His new bedtime is closer to 7 or 7:30, but he STILL wakes up around the 5:00 hour. Mason is sitting like a big boy! He loves to chew on EVERYTHING! He's very fond of his activity jumper right now. He can just bounce, boune, bounce forever. He's not crawling yet, but he sure does get up on his hands and knees pretty well. He will roll clear across the room if you aren't  watching him like a hawk. He is a giggle monster and smiles  a lot! He likes to grab your face and kiss it!
Everyone tells us that Mason is just the happiest little guy they've ever seen!

This is the saddest little picture of his chubby-wubby legs! The poor baby got 4 shots at once and Mike said he cried big bad tears! I am so glad I wasn't there to see that.
He was wiped out afterwards for sure!
Sleepy Little Angel

We went back to the Neurosurgeon and got a GREAT report! Mason's head is looking good:) So good....that he might only have to wear Big Blue for another month or so. YAY!!!!
Mason looks pretty happy about that news.
Aunt Amy was happy about it, too!:)
I was trying to get some pics of his forehead at two different angles. It's definitely not protruding like it was!
Big Blue is doing it's job!

So, this year is the first year that Madden is REALLY into Halloween! He started showing a little interest last year, but he's all about the pumpkins and dressing up and TRICK-OR-TREATING this year! It's fun to see how excited he is!
Mike took Madden to the store and let him pick out some pumpkins. He came home with three! One HUGE one and two smaller ones. He enjoys decorating everything with stickers right now, but he had a fun time painting his big one as well. He wasn't nearly as messy as I had expected him to be.
I think his pumpkin turned out beautiful!

 Darth Vader and T-REX
I think Madden's enthusiasm about Halloween is rubbing off on Mike. They were both equally excited to try on their costumes!

I haven't decided what Mason will be yet. I tried on Madden's old Monkey costume just for fun, but I already know it's going to be way too hot! Honestly, it doesn't seem comfortable AT ALL!

This is just a random cute picture I took of Mason with his "Mason Reid" animal. This was a gift from the Scheibner family. Shara is super talented and always makes the BEST little goodies for the boys!

Here are two happy moments to remember! Yes, Madden had a successful trip to the salon. Beth was brave enough to give Madden another chance. He sat in the chair like a big boy all by himself. He even let her put the cape on him. As you can see, he earned a blue sucker this time. We can't say the same for his previous visit:) Way to go, Madden!  I love that Madden is playing sweetly with Landry in the next picture. Charlie bought each of the boys their own shopping cart. Madden usually thinks he needs his stuff and Landry's stuff. We are still working on sharing, but I witnessed Madden actually being pretty sweet with his cousin this day and it made me so happy:)
